Exedy has spent more than 70 years building automotive-grade drivetrain components. Today it is applying that engineering to the air, and the new exedydrones.com is now live to introduce the AYRE CX agricultural drone to farmers, operators and dealers across the country.
Think Cre8tive designed and built the site from the ground up, and we timed it to go live with the brand's public launch.
The challenge
A product launch website has a lot of jobs at once. It has to introduce a brand most growers have never seen in this category and explain a technical product in plain language. Then it has to send buyers to the right local dealer. Exedy sells through a dealer network, so the site could not stop at "contact us." It had to connect a grower in Iowa with the nearest authorized dealer in a few clicks.
What we built
- A product story that reads like a spec sheet. The AYRE CX pages walk through spraying, spreading, flight and navigation with real published specifications, presented in a clean, instrument-panel style that fits the brand.
- A live dealer locator. Dealer listings come straight from the Exedy dealer portal, so when a dealer is added or updated, the public website reflects it automatically. Visitors enter a ZIP code and see the closest dealers by distance.
- Reservations and dealer recruitment. Growers can reserve through a dealer, and businesses interested in selling and servicing the AYRE CX can apply to become a dealer directly on the site.
- Support built in from day one. A support center and an online warranty claim path are part of the launch, not an afterthought.
- Accessibility and privacy by design. Captioned video, contrast-checked colors, keyboard-friendly navigation, a pause control on motion, and a consent manager that respects visitor privacy choices.
The result
Exedy launched with a fast, focused site that tells its story, captures reservations and routes buyers to dealers, all on day one.
"Exedy came in with serious engineering and a big launch date," said Chris Wielinski, Managing Partner at Think Cre8tive. "Our job was to make the website match the product: precise, credible and built to put growers in front of a dealer quickly."
